Support Groups

In a support group, members provide each other with various types of help for specific burdensome issues. The help occurs through the accountability and conversation with others who have traveled through the same path.

alcoholics anonymous

The primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics achieve sobriety.
-Meets Tuesday at 6:30pm (Room 33-5, entry from South West Street, door marked Spiritual Formation Center).
-Meets Tuesday at 8:00pm (Room 33-5, entry from South West Street, door marked Spiritual Formation Center).
-Meets Saturday at 8:00pm (Room 33-5, entry from South West Street, door marked Spiritual Formation Center).

al-anon

Fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who share their experience, strength, and hope in order to solve their common problems.
-Meets Tuesday at 7:30pm (Room 1, Lower level of CUMC. Use parking lot door, go to lower level).

narcotics anonymous

NA is a non-profit fellowship or society of men and women for whom drugs has become a major problem. We are recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other stay clean.
-Meets Sunday at 6:00pm (Room 4, Lower level of CUMC. Use parking lot door, go to lower level).
-Meets Monday at 7:45pm (Room 1, Lower level of CUMC. Use parking lot door, go to lower level).
-Meets Tuesday at 6:45pm(Room 4, Lower level of CUMC. Use parking lot door, go to lower level).
-Meets Thursday at 7:45pm (Room 1, Lower level of CUMC. Use parking lot door, go to lower level).
