The UMW will prepare 50 feminine hygiene kits for Mission Central. A sewing bee will be held on Nov. 16, 9:00am-1:00pm in the MPR. The components of the kits have already been cut and are ready to sew. We will form an assembly line and each person will sew a portion, pass it on until complete, then holes will be punched, snaps attached and the completed kits ironed. If you prefer to sew, please bring your own machine. If you can't or don't want to sew, we'll need help with the holes, snaps and ironing.
Coffee and light refreshments will be on hand. And we'll have fun and chat. If you can't make the "bee," you may take kits home to sew.
