Moving in Faith

Sep 20, 2020 | Pastor Jake Waybright

Arms Wide Open

Worship Guide.
The heart of our mission and vision is built into our new facility. The cross at the center and the two wings extended are meant to represent the welcoming embrace of God in Christ. Every time you drive on to campus and come down the winding driveway - be reminded of the embrace of God's love extended to you. Every time you drive on to campus and come down the winding driveway - pray for someone who does not know that embrace. If you do this, you will keep our mission and vision alive in you and in us. We dream that this place surrounded in God's creation will be a place where more people than we could dream or imagine will come to know the loving embrace of God. That they will find that they are known and loved by God. That they will be changed by that embrace and that we together will be the body of Christ in this place - with open arms for all people to come and find the love of God.  This is what our commitment is about today on commitment Sunday. "Lord, what do you want to do through me?" This has been our prayer, may it be our way of life together! Inviting all to become disciples of Jesus serving the Carlisle community and beyond. And learning together the incredible joy of living like Jesus.
