The Student Ministries at CUMC strive to provide a caring church family for students. We aim to build a friendly space where students can gather, serve, and reach out to others with family, passion, kindness, and generosity.
CUMC Students is a safe place to be yourself no matter what you have done or what has been done to you. A place to belong no matter what your past is or what you think your future has to be. You can feel safe to share questions about Jesus: Who is he? What's he about? You can consider what it means to be a Christian.
During the school year, students (6th-12th Grade) meet Sunday nights, 5:00-7:00pm in the Student Room.
Confirmation is an opportunity for students and young adults to confirm the vows of participation in God's church that their parents made for them when they were young. Confirmation is learning about and claiming one's faith - and then doing something about it! It is a time to explore our Christian faith, the church, and your faith. More info...
A mission trip can be life changing! Within a relatively short period of time, your own life and a stranger's life can be powerfully changed. Adults and students together learn, get to know each other better, do a lot of work, and treat each other with love and kindness. Lives are changed, homes are restored, and it is made possible by the congregation's support - both financial and spiritual. Donate to CUMC Student Mission Trips here.
