The picture that Jesus wants us to have about what true religion looks like is: religion cares for the poor and needy, religion in which our hearts are transformed to reflect the mercy, compassion, and love of God to all people, religion that follows in the way of Jesus in creating a space where all people come to know the healing, love and wholeness of God, a religion where all people have a place in the Kingdom of Heaven.
