Voices of Advent

In Voices of Advent, we will explore how biblical texts shape our lives and Christmas celebrations. We listen as Jesus promises to return to us in the future, to John the Baptist as he prepares the way for the Messiah, to the faithful people and poets who anticipate the magnificence of Jesus' birth, and to the angels and visionaries who praise God when Christmas dawns.

A Study in Philippians

February 3 - March 3, 2019
The New Testament book of Philippians best illustrates the Christian life as both happy and holy. Even while in chins in prison, the Apostle Paul writes this letter filled with encouragement, joy, and faith. He also reminds the readers that while they may currently be in a season of suffering, they will share one day in Christ's glorious resurrection. Join us during this series to learn from Paul's letter to the Philippians that which applies to our lives today.

Once Upon A Time

January 6 - 27, 2019
The weather of winter - cold, dreary, snow, and dark - often affords us some great movie nights unlike the sunshine and daylight of summer months. In 2018 Mickey Mouse turned 90 years old and his impact and lessons have touched the lives of countless children and families. The movies of Disney have become classics for generations - with timeless lessons and values for us all. During January we will see the lessons of scripture lived out through Disney movies.

Prepare the Way 2018

December 2-23, 2018
Often times we get so focused on Christmas that we forget what it is to celebrate Advent. This sermon series invites you to prepare for Christmas by being fully involved in the preparation of your heart in Advent. We will explore the Way of Peace, the Way of Justice, the Way of Fearlessness and the Way of Faithfulness.

#struggles

October 14 - November 11, 2018
As you scroll through your day, does it feel like everyone else has it all together? Someone always has the best job, cutest kid, or happiest relationship. We're pressured to measure up to other people's social media status updates and left with more #struggles.

This five-week series studies what it's like to live a Christ-focused life in a selfie-centered world. Topics include finding compassion, authenticity, relationships, contentment, and rest.

Generations

Throughout this sermon series, and as we break ground on our new church building for God's people of all ages, we will explore the gifts, graces, and joys of each stage of life.
