Like Elijah, we all face moments of fear and isolation. And like Elijah, we are called by God to see these moments with new eyes. In this class, we'll approach Mt. Horeb with the ancient prophet, hear God's audacious declaration that no fear or anxiety exists outside of the compass of his kingdom, and encounter his invitation to labor with him alongside the countless thousands who have already accepted his call. Each of us brings with us family patterns, habits of behavior, and experiences of life that shape how we live out our faith in Christ. We will explore how we may need to grow and change to be our best for the Lord. Each lesson will be based in a passage of the Bible with themes for the lesson. Bring a Bible. Led by Iva O'Brien.

June 8-13, 5:30-8pm at Carlisle UMC
On Friday, June 13 there will be a closing program and a picnic beginning at 5:30pm.

Get ready to head out into the wild world as we learn to trust God. True North Vacation Bible School is coming your way! We will sing, play games, discover different things in our imagination station and explore Bible stories that help us learn how we can be friends with God. We will also be offering dinner at 5pm for kids who are interested (A parent must stay with young kids while they have dinner). Hope to see you there!
