Calling all trunk decorators! It's time to get creative for Carlisle UMC's Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 25 from 4-6pm!

Here's the scoop:

• Trunk set-up starts at 2:30pm
• All cars decorated & ready by 3:30pm
• We've got the candy - you bring the decorations and a container for handing out treats

Mindful Women meets the second Monday of the month from September thru May; our quarterly dinner meetings at 6pm at CUMC are on September 8, December 8, March 9, and May 11). These dinner meetings are lively and fun. We also meet in two small group sessions each of the other months (October 13, November 10, January 12, February 9, and April 13) at 1 or 6pm. Small group sessions are held in-person and via Zoom, during which we study and discuss various Bible or CUMC mission topics. This season we will use the book, "Alone, Together," by Brian Houser, a collection of short essays that encourage us to find ways to pause, to notice, and to reconnect. Gary Shockley - former staff member of CUMC and author of Eldering: The Art of Graceful Aging - for a four-week guided journey through the sacred and often unspoken terrain of growing older. Together, we'll explore four essential themes: Living with Purpose, Keeping Joy Alive, Embracing Mortality with Meaning, and The Grace of Forgiveness. Led by Rev. Gary Shockley.
